Brian Yecies
Brian Yecies is Senior Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies and the Co-convenor of the Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies degree at the University of Wollongong. His research focuses on film policy, the history of cinema, and the digital wave in Korea. He is a past recipient of research grants from the Asia Research Fund, Korea Foundation and Australia-Korea Foundation. His book Korea's Occupied Cinemas, 1893-1948 (with Ae-Gyung Shim), which is supported by the Academy of Korean Studies, is forthcoming in the Routledge Advances in Film Studies series. Articles
